Welcome to Iowa County's Bicycling Information

• Visit the new site for bicycling in Southwest Wisconsin.

• Iowa County has a multitude of bicycling assets. There are many, many miles of well maintained back roads, with very low traffic counts. There are miles of on-road and off-road trails within our three state parks. The 40 mile long Military Ridge Trail connects Governor Dodge State Park near Dodgeville with the Madison area, with a connecting trail (The Shake Rag Trail) linking to Mineral Point.
